Additive 30X30, 21-Day Challenge, One-Year Wardrobe Reformation: Month 1 - Week 3 - Mix fancy and casual

This dress is actually more of a gown from the Nanette Lepore's collection for Spring 2008. I've had some some time, but did not wear it until my absolutely most stylish friend in college came to my closet one day. She pulled the dress out, laid it on my tiny dorm-room bed, and eloquently explained the many, many ways to not let this precious item waste away inside a closet. It has been some time since college and I finally pulled it out on my own, wore the dress out, and pleased, received plenty of unexpected compliments from strangers and acquaintances and an close friend. Said friend, by the way, was and still is a style muse. She is also very beautiful and very bright and very funny. Some of us are very lucky to have really cool people  like that.
